General Practice looks to the Division to provide the leadership and development of its members and primary health care.
Current Positions
Mental Health Nurse
BSDGP currently has 7 mental health nurses recruited and placed in general practice under the Mental Health Nurse Incentive Program and has several general practices who would like to have a mental health nurse commence in the New Year.
The Mental Health Nurses are engaged on a contractual sessional basis. The Mental Health Nurses will be supported to set up / manage the requirements of working as a Consultant.
There are opportunities for flexible working arrangements to suit individual needs and to maintain current employment arrangement with your current employer. The Mental Health Nurse needs to be available to work at least one day per week.
